What is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is a house snapshot on the day of inspection. It is a clear, visual evaluation of the property structure, foundation, grading, roofing, walls, ceilings & floors, fireplace, doors & windows, porches & balconies, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliances, dryer vents & optional services. The purpose of an inspection is to detect visible deficiencies, hazardous & building standard issues.

A home inspection may be provided to serve many purposes. These are phased inspections, which consist of pre-pour foundation, pre-drywall and final inspection. Final inspections are based upon the final accessible finished product. The one-year warranty inspection are illustrated before the builders warranty is set to expire.

More importantly, a home inspection assists a client in making an informed life decision in purchasing the unit. The report is not only to illustrate the findings, but to educate the buyer through recommendations, future property investments, and deficiencies observed through the inspection process on inspection day.
